I have been speaking with this
candidate for a couple of weeks now; he enjoys Audio Visual technology on a
personal level and loves his working day, with AV installation being his dream
job. Unfortunately he has just today had confirmation of redundancy (the threat
of which was why he contacted me in the first place) and so now needs to find a
new role ASAP. I believe that his current employer’s loss will be someone
else’s gain.
This candidate is an experienced AV Installer
currently working (until today) for a systems integrator, where has enjoyed
installing Crestron, AMX and Extron based integrated systems for major
corporates in London. He has installed the network infrastructure, racks
(including rack build), control systems, VC endpoints and Codecs (Polycom and
Cisco/Tandberg), displays and projectors, as well as digital signage and IP TV
systems. A technically confident installer who prides himself on the quality
and speed of his work; he has been requested by name by several clients whilst in
his current role.
Redundant with immediate effect, as
such this candidate is actively looking for a new opportunity. He is available
at short notice (he can start tomorrow in the right role), he is looking for a
permanent opportunity offering good career development in the long term. He
lives in the Gravesend area of Kent, with easy access to Central London and is
happy to travel as the role requires. His current salary is £22.5K and he is
looking to improve this to around the £25K level, but is flexible and appreciates
that he needs to prove himself to a new employer. He is a British national with
full right to work in the UK.
