I was recently approached by this candidate and quickly understood that he is a very driven and knowledgeable sales professional. He has the communication skills to quickly develop a rapport, along with the gravitas to be taken seriously by senior decision makers. I have no doubt that he will be successful in his next position, whether this is for an Integrator, AV hire and events services firm, event management company or similar hire business.

A senior sales professional with a demonstrable (he will be happy to provide evidence) track record of sales success spanning twenty years in the AV & IT hire industry and approximately 12 years of AV integration and permanent installation (commercial and domestic). He has sold integration, hire and event services to a wide range of organisations, including major corporates, conference venues, entertainment venues and hotels. He has provided technology for all kinds of events, including a host of sporting events (global high profile competitions), music festivals, large scale public celebrations/festivals and corporate events. He has also successfully negotiated on-going hire contracts with major public and private organisations to regularly utilise short notice hire services.

This candidate has an excellent understanding of the latest AV and IT technologies relevant to the hire and AV integration industry; what makes him exceptional is that he can marry this technical knowledge with a genuine commercial awareness and a clear focus on business objectives. This allows him to provide an excellent consultative service to his clients, achieving their aims, which in turn allows him to achieve the aims of his employer, delivering excellent revenue against target in their chosen market sector. He is a consistent over achiever who continues to display the hunger to open new doors and win new business. He is also an accomplished account manager and relationship builder, winning repeat business by following up on sales with good service and delivering on his promises.

Along with the evidence of his previous sales success, this candidate is happy to provide written references from previous employers detailing his success and how his attitude and work ethic had a positive effect on the other staff within the business, promoting greater customer care and service delivery beyond expectations.

In summary, this candidate will deliver new business within the hire or AV integration sectors, given the right product portfolio and operational support, he will add to his new employer’s bottom line very quickly.

Based in Buckinghamshire, this candidate is used to winning new business around the UK and has good transport links into London and the South of England. He has a full clean driving license. His current salary is £50K (including a car allowance) with an OTE of £80/90K+. He can be available as early as January 2013 to start a new role, and is available for interview immediately.
